The Open-Source-Initiative for SAP NetWeaver PI

With the Open PI Initiative (OPI2) cbs has founded the first comprehensive open source project for SAP NetWeaver. The aim of the project is, together with other developers and users, to develop and provide reusable adapters, tools, libraries and functional extensions for SAP NetWeaver PI as open source. The project is at home on the well-known open source platform Sourceforgeā„¢ and licensed under GPLv2.

Open PI Adapter for EDIFACT Open PI Conversion Module for EDIFACT

As a first sub-project cbs has published the Open PI Conversion Module for EDIFACT, which enables EDIFACT conversion on the basis of SAP NetWeaver PI and is based on the certified cbs PI Industry Solution for EDIFACT.


Open PI Adapter for EDIFACT

The Open PI EDIFACT Adapter offers EDI communication via Internet based on the AS2 protocol.

In order to promote the spread and use of SAP NetWeaver PI, cbs will publish more solutions as open source and further develop them as part of this initiative.

Using the PLv2 form of licence guarantees user companies and developers full access to the source code and, as part of the Open PI Initiatve, makes it possible to extend solutions with additional functions. cbs offers interested users comprehensive services and support which can be adapted to your individual requirements and service level agreements.
