For the further development of this standard software, we are looking for highly skilled inhouse ABAP developers at our location in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, who are keen on joining our product development team.

Here’s what awaits you at cbs – Expectations and Tasks:

Join a global landscape transformation powerhouse:

  • Analyze functional requirements, create technical design approach for complex IT solutions, and implement independently using state-of-the-art programming languages (ABAP 7.4+, JavaScript, Fiori / SAPUI5) and tools (SAP Web IDE, Elipse, ABAP Workbench).
  • Write technical documentation and test scripts.
  • Be responsible for a team of developers involving tasks such as team supervision, guidance, the definition of work packages, coordination and controlling tasks within internal projects.
  • Be a lead part within the software development cycle as development coordinator, to participate in tasks such as the establishment of development guidelines, and documentation standards, quality assurance, coaching of junior colleagues and communication to project managers and functional counterparts.
  • Collaboration with the onsite team.
  • Work independently and organize one’s tasks.
  • Coach colleagues in functional, technical, and methodic topics.
  • Sharing knowledge and experience with the colleagues.
  • Contribute to cbs best practices and methodologies.

Here’s the profile we’re looking for:

  • A degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or any other science topic, preferably with a background in business/industry & Commerce.
  • At least 8 years’ experience an SAP ABAP developer in customer projects or a similar environment.
  • At least 2 years’ experience working as the team lead.
  • Solid exposure to software development and usage of tools in the context of data migration beneficial.
  • Good knowledge in using at least one SAP module in the areas of logistics or finance (key user level).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
