Software-based migration is part of the S/4 Move program

SINGAPORE — cbs Asia Pacific, December, 7th, 2020 – SAP customers need more flexibility, speed and value orientation on their way to digital transformation. In an official announcement for its worldwide customer base, SAP has therefore presented the software-based Selective Data Transition (SDT) approach for the first time as a global standard for the switch to S/4HANA. The SDT approach is part of the S/4 Move program and enables a new customer orientation: the customized migration of business processes and data as an alternative between system conversion (brownfield) and new implementation (greenfield). cbs is a founding member of SAP’s SDT expert community and close partner of SAP for industrial companies. With the transformation software cbs ET Enterprise Transformer, cbs enables large SAP customers to perform fast and value-added-optimized S/4HANA migrations in flexible, global supply and delivery models. The consulting and software company is today the world’s only full service provider for end-to-end transformation solutions to SAP S/4HANA.

cbs ET as success driver for digital transformation

Digitization does not wait. It’s about speed of delivery, about competitive advantages, about clear benefits. No company can afford a mega-project over many years. SAP customers need more flexibility and speed to master the transition to an intelligent ERP. SAP has recognized this need, and in 2019 it set up a working group: “SAP S/4HANA® Selective Data Transition Engagement”. As a founding member of this expert community, cbs Corporate Business Solutions offers its customers a holistic end-to-end transformation approach.

“cbs ET is the pacesetter and success driver for the digital transformation to S/4. As the world’s only full-service provider for SAP consulting and transformation, we offer everything a customer needs from a single source: Holistic consulting, best practices for all types of business transformations as well as comprehensive technical migration services,” explains Rainer Wittwen, member of the cbs management board.
