It can be multiple awarded products, such as the wireless speaker Harman Kardon Radiance 2400 or all-time classics, each invoice, credit and debit note must be validated by the Indian tax authority within a strict timeframe. 4,500 transactions must be processed every month. Errors are costly and not acceptable as they stop the sale process. In addition, constant legal changes make life difficult for those responsible.<\/p>\n<p>Harman partnered with cbs E-Invoice World Cloud, an SAP-based cloud solution for legally compliant processing of electronic communications with public authorities. Together, cbs and HARMAN managed to tackle the Indian E-Invoicing legal requirements in a flexible and reliable manner despite having a tight legal deadline, constant short-term legal changes and an ongoing global pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Debby Powers, Senior Director of Digital &#8211; Global Functions, states: \u201cThe new solution ensures quality, performance and availability in data exchange. The cbs E-Invoice World Cloud is our all-round carefree package for the complex data exchange with the tax authorities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ren\u00e9 Dokhany, Project Manager at cbs and E-Invoicing Subject Matter Expert, adds: \u201cIt was an extremely challenging project, which we mastered together with Harman despite an interim lockdown in India. The early and intensive test phase proved its worth. Shortly after the go-live, about 1,000 invoices were submitted through the implemented solution &#8211; and they all were immediately authorized by the tax authority. It was the perfect start!
