Revenue of 130 million euros in fiscal 2021
Heidelberg, May 4th, 2022 – cbs Corporate Business Solutions can once again boast exceptional success: The global management consultancy increased its sales by more than 24 percent year-on-year in fiscal year 2021. The cbs Group generated sales of 130 million euros (previous year: 104). cbs is thus continuing on a steep upward success curve. Comprehensive transformation projects with the target image of “ONE Digital Enterprise on SAP S/4HANA,” a globally uniform process and system landscape, the aspiration to build a new, hybrid solution architecture 2025+, innovation projects at well-known customers, and global rollouts on all continents were responsible for the sustained growth.
Due to growing demand, cbs hired more than 250 new employees last year. The consulting services of cbs are particularly in demand among the champions of the international manufacturing industry. More than 70 percent of the world market leaders from Central Europe are now cbs customers.
Highly exciting projects and well-known customers

Just recently, cbs completed another strategic corporate project. For SCHOTT AG in Mainz, world market leader for specialty glass, a new digital future platform was implemented. With the help of cbs, the technology group succeeded in implementing a global lighthouse project for industrial customers in the SAP market. In the finance area, SCHOTT realized a digitalization leap and implemented agile corporate management worldwide. In the big-bang go-live, rapid added value was created: 26 sales companies and 43 production sites in 34 countries were lifted onto S/4HANA. The data transformation was software-supported and selective without downtime of the operational systems.
Business is also going very well in Asia. cbs has established more than a classic offshore delivery center there – headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, regional hub in Singapore, high quality standards. The consulting team has recently doubled in size and exceeded 100 employees. It supports cbs projects worldwide. In China and Japan in particular, projects are growing strongly. The cbs office in Tokyo was opened in December, with the Shanghai office to follow in May. “Without exception, all foreign companies developed excellently in 2021. After a short investment phase, they are delivering positive returns and contributing to the company’s success,” emphasizes CEO Wittwen
Business was also very good at the Hamburg-based subsidiary leogistics in 2021. The innovation leader in the fields of operational logistics and supply chain management now employs 175 people (55 were newly recruited). leogistics grew by seven percent and contributed 13.7 million euros to the cbs Group’s total sales. The logistics experts have established a unique position in the market with myleo / dsc, a cloud platform for plant and transport logistics. leogistics supplies large, well-known customers, in the automotive sector, the pharmaceutical industry and the technology sector to name a few.
