Tanja Nenonen on international cooperation in global teams and her role as Managing Director\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Tanja Nenonen has been a part of <\/span>cbs<\/span> for 2 \u00bd years. She was there at the birth of our Finnish location and has been instrumental in building it up. As Managing Director, she has a dual role, because in addition to managing the site, Tanja is a project manager responsible for organizing various projects with international and Finnish customers. We talked to her about what she likes about working in international teams and about her experiences as a woman in IT consulting.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

From project manager on the customer side to managing director<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Tanja has been active in the SAP environment for more than 20 years. She started her career as a CRM key user at a Finnish publishing house. In 2007, she moved to <\/span>Kemira, which is <\/span>cbs<\/span>\u2019s<\/span> customer, where she first worked in <\/span>Corporate IT <\/span>in several roles<\/span> and as a project manager. During this <\/span>time,<\/span> she built up a broad SAP <\/span>know-how<\/span> and managed projects in Asia, South <\/span>America<\/span> and various European countries. As a project manager for Kemira, she lived in South America for a year and worked closely with our team. Her counterpart at the time was Nina Seiler, with whom she kept in close contact even after the project. At their meetings, they often joked about when <\/span>cbs<\/span> would open a location in Finland. One day, the time <\/span>actually came<\/span>: Tanja was asked if she would be interested in <\/span>to join<\/span> cbs<\/span> helping<\/span> to set up the branch office<\/span>. <\/span>After <\/span>she left Kemira in end of 2013, <\/span>Tanja worked<\/span>, as project manager, in <\/span>Finnish IT<\/span> consulting company<\/span> almost seven years, but mostly\u00a0<\/span> in <\/span>customer\u2019s project <\/span>manager <\/span>and have<\/span> a<\/span> \u201ccustomer hat\u201d<\/span> on. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> move to <\/span>cbs<\/span> marked the first time in her SAP career that she had worked on the partner side. She has now been part of the Finnish <\/span>cbs<\/span> team for 2.5 years, which has already grown <\/span>considerably since<\/span> its foundation<\/span><\/span> –<\/span><\/span> and the team is constantly on the lookout for new talent. In addition to some Finnish clients, such as Kemira, the team works on global projects. This requires close cooperation with teams from other <\/span>cbs<\/span> locations.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
