cbs Opens Branch Office in Vienna

Consultancy continues its internationalization course

Heidelberg, May 19, 2020 – cbs Corporate Business Solutions GmbH has taken the next step in its internationalization strategy. The Heidelberg-based consultancy opened its first branch office in Austria’s capital Vienna. With this step, cbs is now represented throughout the entire DACH region, having already opened its successful branch office in Zurich, Switzerland, some years ago. As part of this move, the consultancy will also be promoting its unique end-to-end business transformation portfolio, ONE Digital Enterprise on S/4HANA, to the Austrian market. Managing Director of the branch office is Dalibor Kukic, a Vienna native who brings with him more than ten years of experience in SAP ERP and industrial business processes. The 37-year-old expert is well acquainted with the challenges facing enterprises today.

In Austria too, there is significant demand for end-to-end transformation projects. “Management consulting, process consulting, finance & controlling, logistics – I see many opportunities for us. There is certainly a gap in our market for a provider who can offer such a comprehensive, specific portfolio for the design and implementation of business processes and systems from a single source,” explains Kukic. Vienna joins Zurich, Barcelona, Philadelphia, Detroit, Denver, Singapore, and Malaysia to become cbs’ eighth international location.

As a digital company, cbs was quickly able to switch to different ways of working as a result of the coronavirus crisis. Working closely with customers and partners, it has explored and implemented many new and successful alternatives, including remote collaboration, virtual customer workshops, and online events. Despite restrictions on face-to-face contact, cooperation at national and international level is working well. Complex SAP projects relating to S/4HANA, for example, have been continued with remote support.

Special expertise in selective S/4HANA transition

Speed is an important factor in digital transformations and cbs’ high-speed approach to S/4 transition is truly innovative. The cbs Selective Approach accelerates group-wide migrations, reducing them to a fraction of the time typically estimated. This increased pace is thanks to the unique approach of only migrating specially selected elements. cbs is thus able to redesign the implementation planning of SAP transformation projects, bringing significant added value as well as shortening the time taken. Managing Director Kukic is certain that “Our offering should prove interesting for many Austrian corporations.”
