Group-wide unit with 370 experts advises global market leaders in the manufacturing industry
Heidelberg, April 2nd, 2025 – Three years after the takeover of Trebing+Himstedt Prozeßautomation GmbH & Co. KG by the consulting firm cbs Corporate Business Solutions, a significant milestone has been reached: The competencies of both companies have been successfully combined and bundled into a strong, integrated organization for manufacturing and supply chain excellence.
At the heart of this development is the Sustainable Supply Chain & Manufacturing Practice (SSCM) – a Group-wide unit with around 370 experts who support customers along the end-to-end value chain from design-to-operate. The SSCM Practice combines strategic business consulting with in-depth implementation expertise in IT – for future-oriented, sustainable and efficient industrial value creation.
As part of the organizational development, a new management team is taking over responsibility for the Manufacturing division: Kai Squillante and Erol-Kurt Yurtluk will lead the division and further expand cbs’ position in the market as a leading partner for digital manufacturing solutions. The aim of the high-performance SSCM practice is to implement intelligent factories in a networked, synchronized supply chain for global market leaders in industry.
The previous Managing Directors of Trebing+Himstedt, Steffen Himstedt and Stefan Trebing, left the company on March 31, 2025, thus completing the successful transition to a new phase.
Trebing and Himstedt founded their consulting firm in Schwerin in 1992.
With the successful integration of Trebing+Himstedt, cbs is consolidating its leading position as a partner to international industry for end-to-end, intelligent and sustainable value creation.
