SAP-based solution for legally compliant processing of electronic communications
Philadelphia, September 7th, 2021 – Harman, a global manufacturer of connected car technology, has high-volume invoice demand and requires robust and reliable partners to comply with local legal requirements. It can be multiple awarded products, such as the wireless speaker Harman Kardon Radiance 2400 or all-time classics, each invoice, credit and debit note must be validated by the Indian tax authority within a strict timeframe. 4,500 transactions must be processed every month. Errors are costly and not acceptable as they stop the sale process. In addition, constant legal changes make life difficult for those responsible.
Harman partnered with cbs E-Invoice World Cloud, an SAP-based cloud solution for legally compliant processing of electronic communications with public authorities. Together, cbs and HARMAN managed to tackle the Indian E-Invoicing legal requirements in a flexible and reliable manner despite having a tight legal deadline, constant short-term legal changes and an ongoing global pandemic.
