What does the trainee programme actually look like?
You will receive tailored training that will prepare you perfectly for your future role as an SAP consultant. You will be supported by an experienced mentor as well as senior consultants and managers. During the trainee programme, you will complete internal and external training courses and receive SAP certifications from the SAP Academy.
What is special about our trainee programme?
- Practical focus through English-language case study: Development of a practical case study (in English) in which a fictional customer project is implemented in a software-based training environment. The results are presented to senior management and mentors at the end of the programme.
- Recognised certifications at the SAP Academy: Deepening of module knowledge in the qualification phase with SAP certification in the desired language.
- Permanent employment contract with attractive salary
In which specialist areas are trainee programmes offered?
You have the opportunity to specialise in one of our departments:
- Finance / Controlling
- Logistics / Sustainability (options: product life cycle management, production planning, procurement, warehousing, production, distribution logistics or service/maintenance)
- Foreign trade logistics (GTS)
- master data management
- Landscape transformation/migration (implementation of organisational changes, consolidation of system landscapes and implementation of new business processes)
- Business Intelligence (Business Analytics)
- Technology / Development / Cloud Platform
- Authorisation management (design and implementation of security concepts)

Who we are looking for?
Your drive is needed:
- Have you successfully completed your master’s or diploma degree in industrial engineering, computer science, economics or natural sciences?
- In addition, have you gained initial practical experience, for example through internships or working student positions?
- Do you have a good command of English and, ideally, have you been able to consolidate your skills during a stay abroad?
- Do you enjoy learning new things and radiate enthusiasm?
- Are you communicative, a team player and keen to travel?
Then you are the ideal candidate for the trainee programme at cbs!
When does the trainee programme start?
- The spring trainee programme begins on 1 May.
- The autumn trainee programme begins on 1 October.
- It takes 4 months.
- Between 15 and 20 trainees start each time.

What does the application process look like?

If your profile catches our attention, we would like to learn more about you in a 30-minute telephone or video interview.
Step 3:
Did you successfully pass the telephone interview? Then you can look forward to a face-to-face interview with a colleague/supervisor from the department.

Following the interviews, you will receive feedback from us!
Where does the trainee programme take place?
The trainee programme takes place over four months, mainly at the headquarters in Heidelberg and partly at the SAP Academy in Walldorf.
