SAP Cloud Platform Portal provides organisations with a flexible offering to build business sites and engage with employees, customers, and partners. It combines applications and content across multiple sources and provides a centralised experience.

With this, users can efficiently access critical information and processes to fulfil their responsibilities.

Example: Supplier portal

  • It is an all-in-one portal for suppliers to do business with your company.
  • Building sustainable relationships with suppliers to help fulfil operational business needs.
  • Suppliers can find localised terms and conditions for procurements.
  • Simplify and standardise business operations with suppliers.
  • Allow suppliers to see purchase orders assigned to them in real-time.

Below a supplier portal created using SAP Cloud Platform with 3 web pages created that is accessible via computers, mobile phones and tablets.

  • The display of app grouping is based on the user profile at the SAP S/4HANA backend system.
SAP Cloud Platform Portal combines applications and content across multiple sources and provides a centralised experience.

Kindly note that even though SAP Cloud Portal Service is available, it is no longer on the SAP price list. Existing SAP Cloud Portal Service customers can continue using it, and there is no end support date.

See also the road map in the Road Map Explorer. The launchpad experience of Cloud Portal will continue to be enhanced over time with new capabilities. Note that the freestyle option is in maintenance mode. It is recommended to create sites only with Launchpad design.

If a customer would like to transition from SAP Cloud Portal Service to other services on SAP BTP, we recommend as follows:

  • Customers who implemented the Launchpad site template can transition to SAP Launchpad service.
  • Customers who implemented freestyle sites can transition to SAP Work Zone.
