The annual meeting of the cbs community
The Summer Summit 2025 took place from 23 to 26 October in Mallorca to mark the 30th anniversary of cbs and was a special highlight. 939 employees came together for several days to exchange ideas, deepen their knowledge, further their education and celebrate the anniversary together.
In addition to cbs, its subsidiaries Trebing + Himstedt, leogistics and p78 were also represented. The anniversary event once again underscored the special cohesion and global strength of cbs.
Competence Day
In 2025, our Competence Day took place virtually – a whole day dedicated to further training, knowledge transfer and exchange with all business units and competence centres. Participants had the opportunity to learn about numerous go-lives in recent months, flagship projects and highlights from the past year. Exciting reports from a wide range of cbs business areas and interactive discussions on the virtual stage rounded off the programme.
With around 800 participants, 60 presentations in 7 streams and 90 speakers, the virtual Competence Day was all about knowledge sharing, further training and personal exchange – even online, in a relaxed and lively atmosphere.
Summer Party
We cultivate a special corporate culture – that was clearly evident once again. We are human, we are personal, we treat each other as equals. That is what makes us strong. The Power of Orange was palpable everywhere once again. And this spirit is also a key factor in maintaining strong customer relationships and countless project successes,” adds Henning Krug, member of the management board and responsible for Competence Day.
The Power of Orange – that was the motto of the open-air party, and it is also cbs’s employer brand.
Corporate Summit
Demand for innovation projects and complex business transformations remains high, despite the tense global economic situation. We continue to grow strongly and sustainably. We don’t want to miss the opportunity to take time for each other, get to know new colleagues and exchange ideas on a personal level. That has always been and continues to be very important to us. And in that sense, the Summer Summit was once again great fun – it was a mega event for all of us,” explains CEO Rainer Wittwen.
Innovation Award
In 2025, the Innovation Award once again highlighted cbs’s exceptional innovative strength. The award is given to projects that create significant added value for customers through innovative ideas.
This year’s winners were honoured virtually: following a public vote, Rainer Wittwen and Holger Scheel announced the winner before Dr Karsten Kötter presented the award to Jannis Conen from the cbs AID team. The team was delighted to receive this special award for its innovative project.
