Annual meeting in europe with employees from all branches worldwide
Heidelberg, July 12th, 2022 – “The Power of Orange” – under this motto, cbs Corporate Business Solutions celebrated its annual Summer Summit with more than 600 participants from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, the USA, Malaysia and Singapore in Mannheim. For two intensive and enriching days, the entire cbs community came together for knowledge sharing, training and education. The highlight of the meeting was the big cbs Summer Night Party including fireworks. There was plenty of partying at the long beach bar and on the dance floor.
The Summer Summit is divided into two parts, it consists of the Competence Day, a day all about knowledge exchange, innovations and further education with all Business Units and Competence Centers followed by the Corporate Summit, which deals with organizational innovations and special news from the cbs group of companies. In addition, there was an entertaining review of the numerous go-lives of recent months, lighthouse projects and highlights of the past year, reports from a wide variety of cbs business units and national companies, exciting discussions on stage and a great deal of personal exchange in a relaxed atmosphere. The two subsidiaries Leogistics, global partner for future-proof logistics solutions, and the manufacturing and IoT specialist Trebing + Himstedt were also present with numerous colleagues.
“Our order books are well filled. Demand for innovation projects and complex business transformations is currently very high. At the same time, however, we don’t want to miss out on taking time for each other, getting to know new colleagues and exchanging ideas on a private level. That was and is very important to us. And in this sense, the Summer Summit was great fun again – it was a mega event for all of us,” explains CEO Rainer Wittwen.
“We cultivate a special corporate culture – that was clearly seen again. We are human, we are personal, we meet at eye level. That makes us strong. This Power of Orange could be felt everywhere again. And this spirit is also a central factor for strong customer relationships and countless project successes,” adds Henning Krug, member of the management board and responsible for the Competence Day. The Power of Orange – this was the motto of the lively open-air party and it is also the new positioning of cbs as an employer brand. This logo also adorns the new, cool cbs hoodies that all employees were proudly wearing during the Summer Night.
Another highlight was the cbs Innovation Awards 2022, which were presented to seven cbs project managers. They managed to realize extraordinary innovation successes at global market leaders from industry. These projects were a shining example of how cbs turns innovations based on SAP software into reality, creating added value for industrial customers.
