After finishing his studies of business administration at Justus Liebig University (Gießen, Germany), Oliver Dorsner began learning the basics of consulting at cbs upon taking a position in sales and distribution in 1999. The Bühl-born SAP expert went on to serve as a process consultant and project manager in global transformation projects and international SAP rollouts.
In 2005, Dorsner took charge of the cbs’s SAP Competence Center for customer relations and sales management. During the same period, he also helped establish cbs’s offices in Munich, which are now home to more than 40 consultants.
In the years that followed, Dorsner was appointed the consulting director responsible for the company’s locations in Stuttgart and Zurich. He currently oversees cbs’s own project management methodology, M-cbs, and has been responsible for the company’s management consulting efforts since 2015. This includes directing the cbs S/4HANA Transition Program, a special range of consulting services designed to prepare companies for the new world of SAP. Dorsner was appointed to the cbs executive board in 2017.
Now based in Munich, Oliver Dorsner is married and has two children. Along with traveling to faraway lands, he particularly favors the mountains, which is why he can often be found running, skiing, bouldering, and climbing in the great outdoors.
